Hi Ya'll My name is Tisha and I am 9.5 years old. My foster mom calls me a velcro pug because when you are home I love to be right with you. I think part of the reason is I am blind, now let me tell you I figured out my foster home within the first few hours. Everyone thinks dogs need to see where they are going, truth be told we use our nose to smell our way around with or without vision. Here let me give you a little data about our noses. Olfaction, the act or process of smelling, is a dog's primary special sense. A dog's sense of smell is said to be a thousand times more sensitive than that of humans. In fact, a dog has 220 million olfactory receptors in its nose, while humans have only 5 million. OK enough about noses, let me tell you a little more about me. I would make the perfect pet for someone looking for a gal to sit beside them while they watch t.v. I get along well with other dogs, big and small. Not sure about cats, but if I can't see them I am not going to be chasing them. I don't think I should go to a home with small children, older would be better. I am fully housebroken, which is a BIG plus I think. I love to eat, it's hard to see by my picture, but I could stand to drop a few pounds. I think my foster mom said something about going on a diet, not sure if she meant me or her. Won't you please take a minute to fill out the application and at least come visit me. I have some much more I want to tell you, but I can't afford the person who is typing all of this for me, she is a little expensive. I promise once you meet me, you will never forget me.
