xxxx CHEVROLET BEL AIR BUBBLETOP GOODGUYS "PERIOD PERFECT" AWARD WINNER SCOTTSDALE xxxx Built as a vintage 60s "weekend warrior" drag car this Bel Air bubbletop is loud and mean! Just finished in January xxxx from a fresh makeover, the car is ready to cruise and show. Fully detailed chassis, interior, engine compartment, interior and body. Too many new parts to list them all but here are the highlights Drivetrain is a balanced and blueprinted built 454 with forged rods and 10.5 to 1 pistons Heads are ported and polished with 2.30 valves Edelbrock intake with Holley 750 double pumper Vintage recurved Mallory Unilite distributor and coil Sanderson headers with new side exit straight thru mufflers. Trans is a built T-350 with a 3,000 B&M converter, a shift kit and trans cooler Entire engine compartment was treated to a complete nut and bolt restoration. New wiring harnesses, alt. battery, cables, Spal elec. fan etc. Front suspension also fully restored with new bushings, ball joints and 2" lift springs from Detroit Eaton Spring Steering box is new along with brake lines and hoses and a freshly stripped and painted frame All new wheels and tires. 15" tubeless cheater slicks, Torq Thrusts and 7.75 x 15 Firestone bias plys from Coker Tire Custom interior is all new from carpet to headliner Custom dash mounted oil pressure and temp gauge with dash mounted retro tach and volt gauge Underdash wiring harness and fuse panel are new along with original radio and heater delete block off plates All weather stripping has been replaced Bumpers have been rechromed All side moldings and grille have been detailed. New headlamp bezels Body has had one repaint probably many years ago and was just gone over with a cut, buff and polish Looks very nice Not only is this car set up differently than all the pro-touring cars out there and attracts ALOT of attention, it is a very rare and hard to find model.
